A denomination made up of local congregations.
How it began
In the late eighties, in Skopje and Shtip, a few people came to faith in Jesus and began meeting informally. In 1988 missionaries from Serbia arrived and the official services began.
In 1991 the churches bought houses that became church buildings, and the headquarters has remained at 16 Franklin Roosevelt Street.

The main decision-making body is the Council of Pastors, made up of all ordained pastors. It is headed by the president together with an executive team of five.
The president is Petre Petrov, who is also the pastor of the Evangelical Church in Shtip.
The leadershipWhat we do
Every local church has its own regular gatherings, and together they are the recognisable mark of the denomination: Sunday services, prayer meetings, Bible classes and fun activities for children, teenage and youth meetings, women’s and men’s gatherings for fellowship and Bible study, Christian and Bible courses such as ALPHA and ANA for women, evangelistic events, concerts and promotions.
Alongside that: humanitarian work, publishing and theological education. The day and time of each gathering are on that church’s own page.

National service
The third national gathering of this kind, bringing together believers from every local evangelical church. The intention is for such services to be held once a year and to grow into a tradition.

Men’s summer camp
A camp held every year, usually in the summer: morning and evening messages with speakers from the Evangelical Church, interactive workshops, sport, fellowship and free time. Postponed to 2026.

Theological education
Kumanovo · established 2016
ETIK
The Evangelical Theological Institute. A four-year theology programme taught as mentored part-time study — 43 subjects, seminar papers and a final thesis. The teaching staff numbers 15: three with doctorates, six with master’s degrees and six graduate theologians.
About ETIKSkopje · established 2024
Skopje School of Theology
A two-year theology programme, 120 ECTS, taught in person and online. It prepares Christian workers to serve the church and society in a contemporary Balkan context.
